Fremont Street Department

The town of Fremont has 21 miles of street and has two state highways that go through town. There are two employees, Danny Frasier, Street Superintendent and Jeff Olds, street employee that keep the streets plowed, swept and maintained. The town currently budgets $200,000 for repairs yearly.

The Department has 4 trucks in their fleet. They have a 5 bay garage for their vehicles. They also have a salt barn exclusively for the storage of salt.

The Street department will start leaf pick up in October until the first snow. They also do brush pick-up from March until October.

There is a compost site located on State Road 120 in front of the Wastewater plant that is open to the public during regular business hours.
